Overview
The Village of Garden City has its own Ethics Code and a three-member Board of Ethics.
The role of the Board of Ethics is advisory and does not have investigatory powers.
The Board of Ethics is available to provide advisory opinions to any officer or employee upon request. An officer or employee includes a paid or unpaid officer or employee of the Village including, but not limited to, the members of any Board, whether paid or unpaid.
The Village held ethics training provided by NYCOM Counsel John Mancini on January 6, 2025 for senior staff and members of the Village Boards and Commissions.
