Note: Residents are only allowed one free lead test.
Residents may contact the Village if they suspect their plumbing contains lead material. This includes the service line which brings water into your home from the water main in the street. Additionally, the Board of Trustees has waived all permit fees within the DPW and Building Departments related to water service line replacement.
Starting in February 2025 residents who have not previously had a lead test may pick up sample bottles at Village Hall. After following the procedure, the bottles need to be returned to Village Hall. Results are usually available in 3 weeks and will be emailed to residents.
