By Car: The Inc. Village of Garden City is located in the middle of Nassau County, between the Southern State Parkway and Northern State Parkway.

   By Train (MTA Web Site): The Long Island Rail Road runs on a frequent schedule and travel time from New York City Penn Station is approximately 45 minutes. Five railroad stations provide service to Garden City. On the Hempstead Line are the Stewart Manor, Nassau Boulevard, Garden City and Country Life Press Stations and on the Main Line is the Merillon Avenue Station.

   By Plane: Garden City is conveniently located within 20 minutes of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport. Public transportation is available including the popular AirTrain from JFK.
